Because of its enchanting beauty and the mild climate Capri has always been considered the island of dream, and it was considered a refuge by important famous people like the roman Emperor Tiberio who build there his villa Jovis. The island rises in the south of the gulf of Naples being a detached piece of the Surrentine peninsula, only a few kilometres far. The island has two towns Capri and Anacapri.
What to see
The well known little square which is the hearth of town of Capri, the narrow streets, the shops, the blue grotto, Villa Jovis, Villa of Axel Munthe and much more.
How to get there
You can get to Capri in two ways. The first leaving from the port of Naples (Molo Beverello). The second leaving from the port of Sorrento which is the shortest (10Km versus 40 Km of sea distance) and is the one we do suggest because it is very easy to get to Sorrento by a Circumvesuviana train. The station is very close to the hotel.
