I was one of the students from the Netherlands staying at your hotel in the summer of 1985 and 1986 with our professors Geertman and Peterse, because of an internship in Classic Archaeology, doing scientific measurements at the scavi. I am pleased to see that the hotel is still open for business. I always liked my stay at your hotel and sometimes commend it to friends, who wan to visit Pompei. I hope to return one day and stay again at your facility!

I read some pretty good reviews about this hotel and decided to come and see for myself. I was not disappointed and it really lived up to expectations.

I have stayed at the V d M Hotel every time I have visited Italy, beginning in 1971. I love the place, the people, the accomodating service, and the excellent location. All have been consistently excellent over all the years. I have recommended the V d M Hotel to all my students (I've been teaching for 25 years) and to my friends. Every one of them has had an excellent visit. I will continue to stay at V d M Hotel -- one of my favorite places in Italy.

Great hotel, great location. There was a welcome party on night we arrived - we felt like one of the family it was great. A band, buffet, drinks.... Thank you so much for a fantastic stay. Would recommend to anyone. definately one of highlights of our trip.

Family owned, a friendly staff, well located next to the scavi, with beautiful inlaid marble and granite floors, bath, a spacious and comfortable room with a great breakfast including very tasty marmalade and a great selection of meats and tasty foods to start the day. I can't say enough good things about the owner and his staff who made sure my stay was pleasant. The Villa rates more than a 2 star in my book!

We had a lovely time at the hotel. The staff was full of information about the area, places to eat, etc. The staff was VERY friendly and accommodating.

To our friends at the Motel Villa dei Misteri, we had a wonderful week staying at your hotel. The atmosphere there was very relaxing, and we so enjoyed the pool and the lovely dinners at your fine restaurant.
A special thanks for the delicious marmalade and to Carlo for his recommendation to find the "Dog on the Chain" casting at Boscoreale... the dog was indeed there and we were able to visit the site as we drove away from Pompei on our way back to Paris.
We shall miss your motel and hope to one day return.
